Frequently asked questions

What counts as "full-cast"?

Productions performed by a cast playing characters, rather than read by a single narrator: dramatized adaptations of novels, original audio drama, and the occasional non-fiction extra (an interview or a making-of) that ships inside the same range.

Why does one book appear more than once?

Several studios sell a single novel as separately sold parts — often two to six of them — and sometimes also as one set. Today each purchasable part is its own catalogue entry, because that is the unit you buy and mark as heard; rolling parts up to one work page is the identity work this project has in progress. Nothing on the site claims the entries are already deduplicated.

Why is an entry undated, or "TBA"?

Because the producer has announced it without a date. Those entries are included on purpose so a series page is not missing its next instalments, and they are part of the catalogue count.

Do you host or sell the audio?

No. We link out to the studio or retailer; we never host audio. Covers and metadata remain © their publishers.

Where do I actually buy or listen?

Each title page links the editions we have verified — Apple Books, Audible, Google Play Books, Soundbooth Theater's own store — as plain links. We do not yet show prices or a per-retailer availability comparison, and we do not publish a price we have not sourced. See the affiliate disclosure for how outbound links are (and are not) paid.

Are the ratings real?

Member ratings are exactly what members recorded, and the number of ratings is always shown with them. Where a title has no member ratings yet, an estimated spread is displayed and labelled estimated — it is a placeholder for the empty state, not a measurement of listeners. The "best of" guides are editorial shortlists produced by a printed scoring rule, not popularity rankings.

My favourite title is missing. Can I add it?

Use the correction button on a person page to tell us about the release; title pages do not currently have a direct correction entry point. If it is genuinely absent from the catalogue the curator will add it at ingest rather than as a correction.

Is something wrong with a page?

Use "Suggest a correction" on a person page. Title pages do not currently expose that control. Accepted changes need a source, and the reasoning is recorded.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete account, confirmed with your password. The privacy page lists exactly what that removes.

Do you use cookies or trackers?

No advertising or third-party analytics scripts are loaded on any page. Your browser keeps a sign-in token and a small cached copy of your profile; the privacy page names them.

Is this site run by a studio?

No, it is independent — and if you arrived looking for the studio Full Cast Audio, that is a different company; the about page explains the name.
